One of the only benefits of being a tech-savvy 65 year old bloke from the UK is a sense of humour (and loads of experience), but I recently found three other benefits I never dreamt of.

1. I’ve been told I have a knack for creating lighthearted, relatable UGC that captures the realities of aging in a fun way.

2. Brands are increasingly looking for creators of my demographic - people with real-world experience, as it brings authenticity that resonates with audiences. 

3. Mixing humour with authenticity - two ingredients today’s audiences love - should appeal to a variety of brands.

Using humour to defuse sensitive issues makes products appealing rather than awkward.
